The Australian soldier...

Postby Surf_Nymph » Thu Apr 27, 2006 10:43 am

What do you guys think of the recently killed australian soldier in iraq

he was suposedly cleaning his 9mm pistol but now there saying he wasn't he was in a room with two other guys who didn't see what happened.

and then they sent the wrong body home and of course his wife was upset

and apparently rang the australian prime minister in the middle of the

night and made a complaint.

..unfortunately it sounds like someone got popped accidently or otherwise by a collegue ...happens all the time in the UK .. everyone here is well aware of a certain barracks where the guys and girls seem to be able to commit suicide by shooting themselves 3or 4 times in the head ???? but thats not suspicious at all ay :!: :?: :!:

yeah it sounds like suicide to me but his wife insists its not and said he was happy when she talked to him a couple of days before but i guess you can hide your depression and feelings.

lol and the ''certain'' barracks havent half got the right name!!

Of course, they'd probably come up with some excuse, like the trigger sticking and firing off more than one round

As for the Aussie... if the wife didnt get proper answers and the wrong body was sent home, I wouldnt just be phoning Howard in the middle of the night, id be on his doorstep

thats right there shouldn't have been any bullet in the gun in the first place and a proffesional soldier should of checked for bullets soon as he picked it up it just looks too suss to me.

yeah you should take the magazine out and then cleared the chamber, but sometimes people get complacent and don't check for the round that's still in the chamber, and that's when accidents happen!
