You know the feeling you get
Posted: Thu Mar 30, 2006 2:45 pmWhen you're anxiously waiting the arrival of something? Cant concentrate on anything, cant do anything, but at the same time you cant sit still for 5 seconds?
Ive been like that since 7pm yesterday. Am desperately waiting for an email regarding a free concert tickets that is up for grabs (some woman bought VIP tickets costing £125 each, cant go, cant sell them and wants to give them to someone who will enjoy the show).
Well, that person is moi, a good mate of hers has emailed her to see if I can have the ticket.
Was gonna buy myself tickets in January, then lost my full time job 3 days before I was due to hand the credit card over, have got about 200 quid to my name, which is enough to get either a concert ticket, or a flight over to the mainland to see the concert. Either way im stuffed.
So... sitting here hitting refresh constantly on my hotmail page, waiting for the email that will either make or break my year lol.
And no, for reasons of sanity (and the fact that I hate having the piss taken outta me), I wont say what concert its for
