Postby didier101 » Mon Mar 20, 2006 12:47 pm

I was just wondering which muscle group do you guys find gets the best workout after a heavy day's surfing. I find that my triceps takes the heaviest beating after a a few hours.

Thighs and my lower torso and back muscles for me.
Tis all the contourting on the sponge that does it.

Normally triceps, but the worst was a cooked thinking muscle on a trip to Lanzarote - great surf, serious sun frying me brain (which could really do without anymore frying). Anyone else had the same problem - any suggestions?

all muscles hurt. By the end of a session I can hardly catch a wave back in.

Triceps mostly.

tricepts don't bother me too much, but I swam for most of my life before I started surfing. My back does get really sore though.

You don't use tricepts much from swimming. You do however use triceps for the pop ups.
