Mountain Biking

Postby little waves » Sun Jan 29, 2006 12:18 am

Has anyone ever heard of a Peugeot Exocet 7005 series mountain bike? I have the opportunity to get a great deal on one and am very tempted....But I have never heard of this bike and can't seem to find anything on the net about it. Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

The thing you need to look at is the quality of the gearing, cables and brakes. I bought a cheap full spennie bike off ebay, at it looked like the mutts nuts, after a couple of months of riding the gears were grinding, jumping and dropping and the cable to my rear brake had snapped.

How can I attach a leaf blower some other kind of cheap simple motor to my mountain bike? I have a mountain bike. I don't know too much about bikes, but I know enough about engines and motors. Really I'm just doing this to save money on gas to the beach and back this summer. Can anyone give me a link to a website with clear-cut directions on how to do it?

In the UK, that would be classified as a MOPED and be subject to an MOT (road worthiness test), Road Tax and Insurance.
You guys get away with everything over there.

little waves - without an idea of spec or price we cant say much about your buike, and the pic is tinny!

People bolt little two strokes to bikes here and just ride them...

I've a trek 6500disk and KHS Tucson 29er. Christchurch/NZ is ace for mountainbiking!
