Surfing Waves

Hi there

i'm interested in collecting a catalogue of peoples dreams for a uni project, and so would love to hear what wierd things you lot dream about! if you wouldn't mind could you provide a description of your dreams in a short story format

there is bound to be some freaked up xxxxx happening in dreams that you could never imagine up any other way!

Weirdest dream i ever had was wen i was about 10. dreamt i was walking and i couldn't turn, just walk in a straight line and eventually walked into a river and drowned. Has anyone ever had the dream where their trying to punch someone but they cant? freaks me out get it all the time!

yea or when your trying to get somewhere before something attacks you or what ever but you cant move for some reason..

I used to have ths one nightmare where I'd be like under water looking at this like cable that streached off infinatley in either direction, water kinda bluey and couldn't see the bottom, somewhere in the ocean, and then just hear this like throbbing, and like something biting the cable or something

and I'd wake up

I went though a period of wrinting down my dreams a few years back I'll see if I can find them!

I tend not to dream much really cause I smoke weed :p

I had a dream I was a seagull once, flying across the ocean. There were two galleons below me. On the ship's deck were many identical cartoon policeman, and they had extendable necks and were trying to knock me out of the sky by flinging their heads at me


I dont eat cheese on toast at bedtime any more...

I have a recurring Surf nightmare.

I am in a tall office building about 30 floors up, and I look out of the window at the secluded little cove that the building overlooks. The waves are perfect - about 5 ft and super clean - there's noone else out.

So I start to look for my board which is behind one of the 100 or so identical doors on each floor. I spend all night running up and down corridors trying to find my gear. On the rare occasions I find it, by the time I get to the beach it is flat!!.

Doesn't take Dr Freud to analyse that one!!

My wierdest dream happened about a month or so ago. I was in work late at night and I had been sent to investigate some strange noises in the 'New building'. So I went up into the new building which wasn't finished, with a torch (there were no lights on). I opened a door and found myself in a classroom of people, just sitting there in the dark at individual desks - all looking forward. I asked them what they were doing and they said they were meant to be there and that they were just waiting. For some reason, this explanation was good enough for me so I opened a side door and went through to a kitchen. There were strange noises coming from the end of the corridor, so I grabbed a broom and headed down there.

I burst through the door only to find a group of Norwegian Scuba Divers were squatting in there. They were making toast when I arrived. Apparently they had dived through the drains to connect up the buildings water supply - they had swum from Coventry (where I work) to the coast and manually connected up the supply.

They had just offered me some toast when I woke up!!

I swear that one's true!!

when i was little i use 2 have the same dream every night n i would be left in a car with the engine on and the car would start moving and i would try and pull hte handbrake and it wouldnt budge and the steering had gone but id managed 2 get on the road n wood eventualy crash

the most recent dream i remember having was about me leaving my guitar somewhere and not knowing where id left it. i kept going round all the guitar shops near me to see if id left it there but they didnt have it. the last place i was going to try was my school but i woke up before i got there. so i never found out whethere i got it back.


not exactly scart stuff n quite pathetic really but i did make sure it was still there when i woke up

That car dream reminds me of one i had wen i was younger! i was dreaming the car was sitting in a car park and it started to roll down a hill, i then woke up screaming and went to pull the handbrake, oddly we were going uphill at the time

I had a dream once of doing the backstroke through the sky of Vincent van Gohs' Starry Night, and in the sky were objects from my past floating around. everytime i reached out and touched something, like an old phone or a baseball bat, my dream would become an actual memory of a conversation i had on that particular phone, or hitting a ball with that same baseball bat. i floated for what felt like hours and hours through a space littered with stuff long forgotten, touched them all, and re-lived the moments one last time.

best dream ive ever had.

well there is this dream i have every now and then a bit different every time but on the same line...........
it starts like this,, i move into this house in the middle of a dead forest with my family, its a very big house and very old, half of the house is divided by a dirty glass door on the one side is the kitchen, the dining room, visiting room,and the master bed room..... but on the other half is rows apon rows of single beds. one night i hear crying,so i try to find the bugger thats keeping me from my sleep, i end up walking through the long lines of single beds, i can hear my foot steps, i stop ready to end my search... but the foot steps carry on,i freeze to scared to move i feel a cold breath on my neck and two chilly hands grab hold of me..........

don t wanna make it to long,,, so you can guess the ending yourself....

i had a dream last night and i was jus in my underwear getting ready to hop in to bed and i look out my window and evryone is jus sitting down watching me girls as well as boys frm my class

I had a recurring dream that I wallpapered a werewolf to the wall. And YES I was sober!

... i have this dream that im gonna wake up ...never happens though

i had a dream i was a werewolf being wallpapered to a wall...

I kept having dreams of our annual beach trip and we would get there and the waves are breaking head high and beautifully clean- something that never happens unless its a hurricane, which i always miss....anyways

so we get to the place we are staying, and i jump outta the car, put my trunks on and run back to the car to get my board out. I then say,

"Dad, did you take my board in?"

"No. someone else might have.."

i make the rounds out of the family, and nobody had touched it. then my bro speaks up and says, "Oh yeah, right your board...umm i took it out to put my suitcase in....and left it at home"



I freak out, and my dream ends as im sitting on the beach on a perfect day, stuck, without a board, while everyone surfing is having a blast out in the water.......

i hate that one, luckily it went away along with the summer months....
