Surfing Waves

so when I can't surf(basically all the time) I longboard skate. I've only been skating for like 2 weeks, and got bored today so I grabbed my dads digital camera and made a movie. I did all the shooting my self by placing it on random objects, all of it is filmed in my driveway or my neighborhood.
I built the board, 44" pintail, I post more description if anybody is interested.

so, tell me what yall think? I know weve got some rather good eyes for film, and I dont really.

sorry the quality is a bit crappy, but between all of the changes in file types, hosting sites, and compression it has been rather distorted, although the original came out quite well quality wise.

I figured out how to hang heels then walk back to the tail and repeat, like a board walk 360... I don't know what it's called but I was stoaked about it.

yea, the board is way too flexy for much walkin. im making a 60" old school dancer, basically exactly like adam coltons. (

I built the board out of what I thought was birch, but it is birch with luan skin, and I used contact cement which didnt give me a rigid enough contact. I've got 78a's on there, so its kinda hard for my skill to do any slides without wetting the road, which would I should have included.

so, that leaves the manuals, and basically, I just can't do them
maybe i'll get better with the new board.

my board came out way flexier that I expected, I had to move my trucks closer twice because the deck was touching the ground... I should get risers but haven't been to a skate shop in a while

I'm gunna combine this movie I'm making with some skim footage and snowboarding, so it won't be done until around january.

where do you snowboard?

normally I like angelfire in new mexico but this winter I'll just be going up with a friend for a few days to a cabin they have in bigbear, calif.

so are you in socal now? no more texas?

I've got a 38" sector nine bamboo....excellent deck. But they wear hard & fast...bamboo being quite a soft weed you see.

Running mine with 150mm Randals & 78d krypto's
