Is someone bringing you comics in bed? That's important when you're ill
And just to make you feel better - yes, I have a

So, on this flu thing....are you guys (& gals) being bombarded with advertising & warnings about pending bird flu stuff? Here we're really getting it, our governments have always been really low-key with this sort of thing, SARS barely got a mention...but bird-flu thing...it's like a pending bubonic plague.
In some ways it'd be kind-of cool for this to actually eventuate, I mean, our modern society is so protected, so nonchalant, so immune (pun) to genuine illness & harm (us western countries anyway) that we abuse antibiotics & other drugs to the point they almost don't work anymore. It'd kind-of be a big "wake up call" to everyone that modern health/welfare is a result of long-term empirical science...and it's a hard-won & fragile thing.
Are any of you making actual preparations? Stocking food? Stashing some cash at home, keeping the car filled with gas, stocking up on surf DVD's. In my position I'd basically be having a forced several weeks off work (oh darn it) and I'd basically spend it surfing, we'd (in this country) have our borders close & that would be it for at least several weeks, no public gatherings, libraries & shops closed, movie theatres shut etc etc....what about you lot?

if it does become a pandemic like there predicting, it wont be so bad, i mean if it wipes enough of us out it might even stop us from fleshin' up the planet anymore than we have allready have plus empty line ups what more could you want

because the population of the world is growing uncontrolably, some people think that there will be a natural decrease caused by some panademic or natural hazard, just because there are too many people living in one place............maybe this bird flu is it??? (scary x files music in the background)
And on the flu note.........sinista and cheezee i bet it is just a cold.....that or man flu

Hey B'
" yeh i think your right my man .. it wouldnt do the world any harm to have a pandemic wake up call !. Lets us all know that we are not in charge no matter how much money and power there is at hand .
Not to sound like a bible basher cause that really aint my thing baby ( sorry , slipped into Austin powers there ! ) .. but are we not seeing natural disaster after disaster , pestilence and disease ??

.. i think mother earth has just about had enough of us unless some major changes are made .. they will be made and still hopefully by choice not by natures force
