Hiya,

I am doing a GCSE Graphics project, i am designing a menu for a themed surf cafe. and im stuck on what i should sell (food and drink wise i mean). My cafe would be located in central London and aimed at Surfers that have to work in London during the week.

If anyone has any suggestions of what kind of 'typical surfer' food i should sell please reply

thank you so much :D

this is most likely a dodgy idea but obviously the surfer, fish connection u shud do Shish Kebab as the s from surfer goes infront of the fish to make s+fish=shish :D

First of all fantastic idea, secondly as the other person said fish should be on the menu, quick and easy to cook particularly nice with herb crusts, seafood pasta with a chilli cream sauce, also what I like after a surf is a good toasted sandwich, cheese ham pineapple the combinations are endless, homemade soup is always a favourite, good luck

Food: fish tacos (California favorite), ceviche (Baja Favorite), grilled Ahi tuna with steamed rice, salsa and macaroni salad (a Hawaiian favorite), Spam (another Hawaiian favorite), Satay ayam chicken on skewers (Indonesian favorite) fish n chips (UK favorite?).

Beer: Corona, Pacificos (Mexico) Anker, Bintang (Indo), Arrogant xxxxx Ale (Central coast Cali) Fosters (OZ) etc....

go for broad, intelligent, healthy and authentic fare. Most of the fun of surfing is where it takes you, create the experience.

I see surf stickers on every surface possible. According to SoCal tradition, if you have a surf taco stand, you MUST have this saying somewhere in plain view:

"God created surfing to keep the truly gifted from ruling the world....."
