Check out this website >

surfing.venezuela.com

Recognise it from anywhere? It's nice to see some people do not have the imagination to make their own site - or even the intelligence to make it unrecognisable. Oh well, what can you do - let's look at it as a compliment to the quality of the information here on Surfing Waves ;D

(Don't give em too much traffic!)

Hey man,

Thats WELL cheeky, what they have done. It's sad really, i can't believe how blatant they made the copy of your site!!!!

Are those your beginners lessons on there too? Did they copy them or change them at all?

I am pretty sure there are legal avenues you can stroll down, if you can be bothered. Depends on how you set up your original site though, and what copyrights you put in, i think.

One thing you might think of doing, is emailing the site with a link back to yours saying something along the lines of:

"I was not happy to come across your site while browsing the web. The extended similarities between that and my established surfing site at www.surfin-waves.com are very worrying. I am not intending to take matters any further, but i request that you at least put a link on your site to mine for any further surfing information that your users may require"

"either that or change the F%$#£:@ layout!!!

Ha, its just an idea anyway. Plus i wanna increase my number of posts. Mucho people have taken over me. Oh and your post about the site, just means we'll all go and have a look at it,...but only once,...i mean it aint better than yours,...COUGH um

yeah

I agree with you. When you're on the web you have to expect these things.
