Surfing Waves

It's coming home with me Monday. Thought you guys might get a kick out of it, if there's any gear heads around

Just needs a little paint.

Are you planning on doing a full surf trip fit out (beds etc) or its just for the large storage area?

Cool van! If you fit a bed inside it'll be perfect for some dawn patrols

I'm not sure if you plan on doing some bodywork and paint, but if not exam it for heavy rust forming so you can treat it. The smaller rust you can slowly repair yourself with some sanding and rust converter, at least to keep it from spreading.

Looks like should fit a longboard inside. I had a couple of good surf cars. the best was a VW camper (also great for dates) The other was Ford truck with a camper shell. Both provided secure board storage and a comfortable place to sleep.

But as far as paint, I'm thinking flat black with old schou hot rod flames

I don't know how I'm going to do the inside. If it doesn't have a couch/bed it will at least have an air mattress for Dawn patrol. And its supposed to get better milage than my pickup Wich is 40 years newer, so maybe surf vacations too
