I'm studying ecology/marine ecology, pretty much the same as marine biology buts slightly less specific. Its an EXTREMELY competitive field with few jobs and crap pay. But hey if thats what you want to do then go for it, i'm loving my degree!!

Ps i spent 3 days at the Leigh marine Labatories last week, if you dont like the idea of analysing fish poo, dont bother!

My mate has just finished his degree in Marine Science and he is now looking for a job. For his work experience he was offered a job testing the piss cakes (not sure of the correct term) in the mens urinals for something or other.
Fortunately he found himself a job in a lab.

I work in IT for the worlds largest travel company!! The one with 3 letters for a name!

I'm in the process of setting up my own company to do website design, graphic design, photo restoration and video editing/ DVD authoring.

It's called Penguin Digital Concepts and my site should be online in the next couple of days!

www.penguin-digital.co.uk (only registered it this morning so I can't upload my site yet. I'll let you all know when it's done!

Hiya, I work for an economic development consulting firm.

However, after discovering this site, it's hard not to be distracted while at the office! :) What an awesome forum for finding info and connecting with other surfers!

Unfortunately, have now spent the last hour browsing, when I should be working...yikes! :D
