US Army
Posted: Mon Jun 13, 2005 11:40 pmAll right guys, I need some encouragement. I leave in 15 days for Basic Training for the Army. I'm excited as hell, but I'm getting so nervous. I'll be at Fort Leanardwood, Missouri this whole summer (June 27th - Sept. 6th.)
NO SURFING DURING THIS TIME. EXTREME HEAT! Has anybody else done this that can give me stories, or does anybody have any ideas to keep me in the surfing spirit while I'm there?
I can't have any electronics, any big items, or anything like those things. I can only bring one bag with 3-5 pairs of civilian clothes and paper/envelopes for writing people. No email, no telephone calls. But I can receive snail mail!
