Hey there, a while ago there was a particulary avid fan of Mr. Beau Young on this forum...I cant remember who it was, but i have a feeling it was Malibu Barbie?! Sorry mate if it wasnt, but if it was well i may have some news that will interest you!

Lol no its nothing massive, and it doesnt really involve Beau all that much. Its just his dad (Nat) is going to be in the North Devon area in July so if anyones interested pop down and say hey to him at Saunton(3rd of July) or Woolacombe(2nd July).
Just thought Malibu might be interested in 'meeting the family!'
I think Nats' doing some commercial-type work for Bic longboards, and they are running workshops all day for the people who fancy giving surfing a bash whether they have surfed before or not.
Anyway, that is all!

Thankyou so much! That's just made my day! Sorry I didn't reply before and admit to being the Beau obsessive you're looking for, but as you can see form my other post I temporarily got a life! But now I'm truly back and lovin' it - especially if you're gonna tell me stuff like that!

Oh yay! Hopefully MIGHT be able to make it down but that depends on how the old driving's looking by then and whether my Dad will be willing to brave the long trip down in the passenger seat!! (Minor problem of not having taken my test yet so not legally allowed to go on my own...)

As it happens, I love Nat almost as much as Beau so yeah, thankyou muchly! I've read his autobiography cover to cover quite a few times, though, so I'd have to be careful not to quote his life story at him or he might get just a liiittle bit freaked out and that wouldn't be good. Not that I'd do that in the first place...hee hee!

And yes, he has been down before but so has Beau (siiiigh) I couldn't go but the lovely lovely lovely man in Surfed Out down there got his autograph for me
