Na, but I've got a serious Husker Du/Sugar/Bob Mould thing. Anybody else enjoy his music?

In the late 1970's Bob Mould formed a band called Husker Du, their first album "Land Speed Record" was possibly the first ever speed metal album. They produced about 7-8 albums in total and evolved from a really raw sound to almost quite jangly & poppy on the last album "Warehouse Stories & songs". They are credited with leading the way for the likes of Black Flag, Pixies and then the whole 90's grunge thing. After Husker Du split up in about 1990, Mould released two solo albums, he then formed Sugar and released about 4-5 albums with this band. He's since done more solo's.
Borrow a couple & try em, I especially recommend Mould's solo album "The Last Dog & Pony Show". All good.

Black Sabath eh? Man I was around then!
You listened to 'smoke on the water'? They written it after arriving in Prague(?)for a gig and seen the venue across the river from the hotel burning down where Frank Zappa was staging a gig. Hence, ssmoke on the water. 'Child in time' is another good one.
Good to see some old stuff standing the test of time.
Could do with some more punk coming back though?
Flow.
