pet peeves

If I hear one more person say pot cures cancer I am going to..........I don't know what but I have responded with repeating over and over again that pot doesn't cure cancer since they have obviously made the mistake of thinking it did because they heard repeatedly that it did. "But I did my research" they say and what they mean by that is they were duped into thinking this was true because they read on the internet repeatedly that pot cures cancer. Anyone saying pot cures cancer is either lying or duped into believing that it is true. They don't understand cancer or what cure means or how to distinguish what is relevant information or they have an agenda that does not include the truth.. Research is not googling stuff on the internet and when you repeat this misinformation you read on the internet you are not only reinforcing your ignorance but also making other just as ignorant as you are.
So what is worse.... dying or regretting it for the rest of my life? Obviously I chose not regretting it.

I've never heard anyone say that. Must be a Hawaiian thing!

I think you need to move...Minnesota would suit you, or maybe Wisconsin

Oh good grief, don't get me started....

I saw a story the other day - on a proper news website - of a man who's "cancer had been cured by pot".

He'd had surgery, several rounds of chemo, and he smoked a spliff every day. So when his cancer was in remission... was it the surgery? Was it the chemo? Was it the medics and the hospitals that treated him? No. It was the spliff. Everything else was just irrelevant. He'd had a spliff and his cancer was cured. Cause and effect. Obviously. :bang:
You'll probably find me surfing, but if not, I'll probably be in the photography studio

People have been addicted to placebos!
Cue the phrase, " what's a nice joint doing in a girl like you?"
I've taken up troll hunting just for fun, instead of a rifle I'll just use a pun! 冲浪爷爷

It doesn't cure cancer, but it is able to make movies based on comic book characters mildly interesting. :|
