If you like the drone footage (I do) and ever wanted to shoot yourself, have a look at this -

Interesting, although in 20 min it would only get me falling of 2 or 3 times instead of the general 15 failures per session

20 minutes...?
Launch drone, wander into ocean, paddle out, get washed back in again, paddle out, duckdive, duckdive, get to line-up, sit in line-up to get breath back, change position, wait for wave, miss wave, change position.... *splash of drone hitting water*

Well, it's waterproof, so you could take it on a backpack to the line up (I know, who surfs with a backpack?
) and throw it up before catching some waves.

Be ready for the drone backlash of laws. Someone landed a drone carrying a bottle of radioactive water onto the Japan prime ministers building. Some drone dropped from the sky and almost hit a monk during a big religious ceremony, the drone went out of range the the 15 year old kids was playing with. And I think one landed on the White house lawn.
