Friday is a federal holiday in the USA. Hope everybody in the USA finds surf on their day off from work.

I had some waves, head high lots of peaks all over the sandbar area. Nothing too exciting but managed to do a small cutback and a floater and a foam climb and did one of my crouch down for a closeout tube and stand up after the wave covers me cutout .....fun waves all by myself. I hope you got some too.

We had a tropical storm blow through on the East Coast early in the day, leaving clean overhead swells coming in all afternoon and into Saturday morning! Considering the normal surf this time of year is waist high and crumbly, it was truly special.

No better way to celebrate than surfing your brains out.
