Billie can't surf: Isuzu repair time

Presently, there is no surfing or hikes with Roxy the ridgeback in the Santa Ynez mountains north of Santa Barbara. Sandra is not able to take her new board out, either. This is because the clutch blew on our 1992 Isuzu Trooper. When it happened, we were driving home from Ventura with a used 12 foot Laird Hamilton / Ron House SUP board on the roof racks.

On Saturday, I pulled the transmission and clutch. The transmission comes out with the 4 wheel drive transfer case, is more than 3 feet long, and outweighs me! New parts should be in hand this week and reassembly completed by Sunday. While under the Trooper, I kept thinking about all the fun things we're going to do (again) once it is fixed.

yeah try to stay positive. If you were here there is no surf to be missing. This past weekend I got some shoulder high waves and some knee high waves. Would have been a good time for such trouble. I have a Hamilton soft top SUP should of had it out this past Sunday
