Rock climbing if u dont mind strained muscles EVERYWHERE although u will probs have them already from surfing. And chalk engrained fingernails and blistered hands. Its fun. Oh and walking/trekking. Plus everythin mentioned above of course!

hm...no waves, well you can always just go take a swim in the ocean or a run on the beach! maybe get some friends together and play some beach football. i wouldnt know lol, I usually just kick it at home with some TV and some art supplies or I go out rock climbing. Even better if you have access is taking some quads out or horses onto trails. Horses on the beach are gnarly too.

personaly i think horse riding sucks (don't like them and they are kinda scary)
but quad biking is cool i have only ever been on one once and that was great but i would start to get bored after a while especially if i was horse riding

Horse riding is FUN! I think it's something you're either into or not but it takes up a lot of time. Lets just say I'd sell my horse for a surfboard heh heh I wish!

yep horse riding rocks, ive been riding since i was 4, had to give up 2 years ago thanx 2 A levels and its so expensive, but I used to take my horses swimming. In northumberland the beaches are fairly empty so id ride my horse down, take the saddle off and leave it on the beach, vault back on and ride them bareback into the sea. If its a calm day and the horse trusts you it will usually let you ride it past its own depth. Sooooo much fun. But dont fall off. Its a cold hack back!

Oh my God that sounds like soooo much fun! Not sure whether could trust my horsey not to go ballistic though! I've only had him 6 months and our favourite game is bucking me off! Hehe! Me and my friend are planning a road trip as soon as she gets her driving license and we're just going to ride round all the beaches in England!

Sounds like a good plan, you should head up north, miles of country lanes with no traffic, incredible beaches that are so long and empty that local race horse trainers use them to exercise their horses. Yeh your horse has to be fairly sane, the last horse i had (on permanent loan no way i could afford to buy a horse like her) was full thoroughbred and VERY highly strung, it was a good day if she would put a hoof in the sea, let alone go swimming! But the beach is also a really good place to practice dressage tests (if you compete), just draw the arena into the sand! Or if you play polo-cross or horse ball its a good place to practice :)

hey dude at least you live close enough top just go to the beach when you feel like it, and to decide not to surf because of the weather. go anyway! make the most of the fact that its going to be empty down there and catch yourself some waves, often the rainy cold sessions are the best. you rarely get a chance these days to be alone in the water.

otherwise, take up indoboarding. its great!

Used to be a Sativa man myself  but haven't bothered now for a while. I am thinking about getting an indo board but dunno if they're really worth it - any opinions on Indo Boards would be great :D .
I work on a tune every so often in my spare room. Bit of skating but need to do more really. Yeah actually at the moment I'm being a bit of a slob! Appart from surfing and computer stuff (oh yeah and work!) I eat and sleep.
Yep thats deffo a job for my new years resolution! Gonna start going to the gymn, skate more, finally get rid of my other car, actually finish some tunes and release em, and get about the country surfing a bit more. Also must get to some gigs - really pi55ed off at not going to see The Prodigy at Brixton Acadamy tomorrow night due to not booking day off from work early enough  .
