Surfing Waves

Been thinking about a guy I met the summer of 85 in Newport Beach. He went by Rabbit (but he isn't one of the "famous" surfers that i've read about). I believe he was my age at the time, around 18 or 19, maybe 20. Blonde curly hair, drove a jeep (gee that narrows it down) and i think he was called Rabbit because of his front teeth. I was in from Texas and they had great fun listening to my accent. I was with my friend who was VERY fair so we stood out like a sore thumb. I can't remember any more specifics. Sound like anyone you know?
