It's been a while...

Few of us have been out of the saddle for a while, getting up early for different reasons - you don't have to change a board's nappy - if you get my drift. Anyway, we're planning a resurrection. Any top tips on where - probably April time. We're gonna be rusty so we need a forgiving wave and plenty of patience.

Canaries...
around this time of the year its 28° and sunny all day long, water is around 18 - 20 so not too cold...
biggest waves are through, but you still get nice and consistent 4 - 6 footer...
either crazy north shore reef breaks or nice punchy beach breaks to the east and west...
Crowds havent arrived yet, its cheap living there and the flight is not too expensive either...

all in all, a good package...

otherwise, east france, north spain or the coast line of portugal... but its way cooler air and water and the living is more expensive... wave like, top notch tho.. with every kind of break you can think about...
realy a question of budget and your longing for sun.. ;)

Thats what happens when you get old, get used to it as its only gonna get worse. I assume we can expect more of the usual rubbish from you guys or are you gonna add some value this time???

Hi ya Kitey, I read through those posts, :spew: I hope parenthood has given a sense of perspective in that while they've been away.
resurrection, nah, exhumation more likely based on what has gone before
