Didn't see an introduction section so I thought I'd post this here.
I reside in San Diego and took some surfing lessons 3-4 years ago and got really into it for a few months, but then stopped surfing for whatever reason. I started surfing again last May and have been into it ever since and plan to keep doing it. I'm currently riding a 6'8" "shortboard" that is fairly thick (2 3/4") and progressing my way to a thinner 6'4" short board that I also own. I'm also looking to pick up a longboard for smaller days and to throw some "spice into the mix".
I generally surf in Oceanside since that is one of the closest beaches to my house (I'm in Vista) but I will surf just about anywhere if I have the chance.
I'm currently 15, so I'm not sure how many other users that are my age are on this forum, but I should be fine
