"isurfer" is a great app for beginers.

I meant to put this in General chat not surf chat! ooops

moved it for you. No ipad or phone, so that's as far a I can contribute on this one.

as a noob to sufering ill check out isurf for surf. theres one called how to surf its pretty good, explains alot for beginners like me. like now i know what goofy footed means lol. it also links to vids from youtube to teach everything from how to paddle to getting up or duck diving. its teaching me alot while exercising while beginning my journy to learning to surf. and theres some stuff in the app for more advanced like learning to float on the lip and such.

Np, I have a long way to go before I can consider myself a beginner surfer lol But there's some other surf related apps I've found, not really for learning and such, but there's US Open, if your into the competions, erm Twsurf is for transworld surf, which is a s urfing mag. erm Surfconsole which is for news and forecasts or something. And I found another one which is just Surf, where you can dl surfing movies or something. But i really only open the how to surf one right now. I've yet to get on a surf board yet, so its all I should stick with at the moment.

I started a year ago and Im totally adicted!! my misses is trying to get me into rehab! Think she's a bit jealous, as my surf boards get more love and attention than she does!!!!

lol I'm working on it, closest beach is 3 hours away, and lessons are 80 bucks an hour. But I'll be on a board very soon i hope! Whenever I see someone in a movie or video going through the tunnel, looks so amazing. So hopefully I get to experience it soon, hopefully by my 28th bday!

Another useful phone app is, "whatsapp" its a sort of in instant mesaging app! the plus side is, you can send picture messages through it for free!
