yeah i have a cheap plywood board bought from st ives, its exallent took me and a mate a week to learn how to do it watching all the tourists around us who was doin it they all seemed to learn fast too . Hard to master thefirs time but after that 360s mad twists and turns and a move some one told me was a pot shoveif it was doneit on a skate board. great fun!!!

whats really fun if you like deeper water, is you can make a really shallow fin for it, like 1/4 inch deep, and like 2 feet long, and glue that down the center of the board, and it will give you more control to do fun stuff. You won't really be able to spin as well but you can carve and I find that more fun.

sounds cool! what did you make the fin out of? when you mean 2 ft long what do you mean, it sounds like it would snap off quite alot ,does it ? i found skim boardin is one of the sports that exercises your body all round and totaly knakers you out after a full on day of it !

yea, he got it. Ive experiemented with larger fins but its harder because you scrape bottom alot, so the 1/4" thick ones work well. Its like two feet long, along the bottom of the board, and I usally make em out of peices of two by fours. Try experiementing with diffrent shapes and see how they work, my favorite right now is like a streched out thruster, that got squished. See what you come up with.

I skimboard quite often, its handy when the surfs crap. Apparently ''skimboarding is the new surfing'' !?! I doubt that very much!?

Skimboarding - do it when surf sucks or you have come on shore for a little break
Best Boards - Zaps because they are just freakin awesome
TRicks- anything from carving on small waves to 360 shovets off the wave whatever floats yur boat
and as far as twiking yur board to be good ( if you have the money ) my freind put to stomp pads on his zap
you get some major air

low foil, make sure it flows, 1/8"tail and 3/16" or so nose.
for that pourpose it doesen't really have to be an exact science, just something low.

so i shouldn't have any rocker in it just a consistant foil front nose to tail, and is there anything else u'd suggest like how would u do the rails?
