Hi, the beach at Llangennith is in a state with all the litter and rubbish left behind and washing up.
It's time to sort it out! If you live nearby, or can get to Llangennith on Sunday, 20th June, we'd love to see you there for a beach clean!
We're meeting at 2p.m and can provide litter pickers, gloves, rubbish bags etc.
If the waves are good we'll go for a surf afterwards.

We need as many of you as can possibly make it, please support the beach clean!

More details will be posted here:

Thanks for the good wishes guys! We had a smaller turn-out than we'd hoped, but we still managed to collect over 30 large refuse sacks full of litter. Everything from combs, to fishing nets, glass bottles, plastic bags, cigarettes, childrens toys and perhaps the most common item - the plastic stalks of cotton buds. Think carefully before buying / using / disposing of those!!!
