SKY - What the hells on!?!

So just in time for the nice weather, and outside the football season, I got the full Sky package installed in my flat. I'm out of touch with posh folks tv as I haven't had any even the basic package for about 4 years.

Anyone got Sky? What should I be looking out for? What's good that you watch?

I noticed that you get the choice of 6 different matches at Wimbledon, SIX!!! Shame I'll be working during most of it!

It's official. There is nothing on. I checked last night. All night. There is nothing on. Sky is rubbish.

I'm just glad I'm getting it for free or I'd be paying about £54 a month or something for a pile of crap!!

My mate is playing on centre court today. I'm gonna sneak away from work and have a watch.

All the good stuff has just finished! The 'spring' season tends to be really quite good, but come the summer, unless you like cricket, there's bugger all!

24, Lost, Fringe, Bones etc. have literally all just finished (actually Fringe might still be on!)

If you want to witness some serious train wreck TV, the new series of Knight Rider is on Sci-Fi. Ironically the first episode they had to pose as surfers! If you've ever wanted to be insulted by stereotypes, see if you can find this episode!

There's a bit where they're looking at the beach and they've pinched footage of Jaws, Pipeline and a small 2 ft longboard wave - these are all meant to be the same beach!! Classic!

Besides that there's always Ben 10: Alien Force on Cartoon network - Gwen Tennison is well fit!! :) :)

OK, I think there's something wrong with me!! :unuts:

I discovered the Discovery channel and National Geograph (or NatGeo as us in the know call it) last night. I am now an authority on Time Travel and Nostrodamus, though I think things may have moved on a bit with the time travel as the programme was about 10 years old.

I have actually sat through the entire series of Knight Rider, that's time I will never get back (well I will eventually as time travel will happen this century). It could have been just bad, but they made it seriously bad by making the car change shape all the time. Inspector Gadgets car was more believable than KIT. Also one episode KIT would save the day by using an electron sub-partical Be-Bop enhancer and then next episode he would be in a similar situation and they wouldn't even mention any of his wepons that we've seen him use before.
Worst though, is the fact that KIT is a multi-billion dollar portable computed and they don't even have a back up of his drives! Even I have back ups of important data. "Oh, if KIT blows up that's him dead!" Get yourself down to PC World and pick up a 1TB external hard drive for £60 then you push him out all the planes you want!!

Ben10: Alien Force eh? I'll check Ms Tennison out.

Oh and the Lanky-Yank Venus Williams bet my Swiss mate.

If time travel is ever going to be realised, why hasn't anyone from the future come back an d told us how to do it?

Sky sucks. That said, the discovery channel did show Beetle & Camper crisis once. So one good program in a year of subscription.

Because Jonah, my simple friend, you can only travel back in time as far as when the time machine was first invented. Stop thinking about time and space being seperate dimensions.........I wanted to go on with some facts and buzz words from the program, but I've forgotten everything that was said. :?

There's a website where you can give them loads of money to fund research into time travel, then when it finally gets invented, they promise to come back and pick you up!!

Sound investment in my opinion!!

If only I could go back in time and re-watch the program........oh hang about, this is Sky, it'll repeated endlesly like the theory about the mobius, a glitch in the fabric of space, where time becomes a loop, where time becomes a loop, where time becomes a loop.....

(I'm gonna have that tune in my head for the rest of the day, nice  )
