if you liked bioshock, check out dead space. i think it's made by the same people, because it's very similar. bioshock sequel comes out during the summer maybe? call of duty 4: modern warfare can be picked up for pretty cheap now

Have you tried Saints Row 2? In the same style as GTA4, not quite as slick, but game play is better and the story funnier.

Dead Space is on my hitlist, still quite new but available cheap.
Just finished 'The Darkness' Cracking horror/mob shooter, a bit old now but well worth a cheap punt.
Also have a look at crackdown, ace!

I've not played the first Saints Row or Crackdown so I can't help you out on that.

they were really fun at first but the city, characters, and gamplay lacked that gritty personality that gta has so i got bored. i cant wait for there new red dead revolver game. looks like it will be free roam.

if your budget stylee get 'Skate' if youre slightly less budget stylee 'Skate 2' both fantastic games, blow tony hawks out of the water a million times over for realistic skating. Huge replayability on both too, you can just skate around the city always finding a new thing to hit, like a small ledge, a drop or some cool banks to do some technical lines on. real good stuff.
then theres mirrors edge which is a very inventive game, you should check the demo out on the marketplace. short game but if you can get it cheap well worth the experience.

I dont like the guitar hero type games. Seems they play you rather than you playing it.
Just finished dead space, it was pretty good if very liniar and repetative, worth a look.

I just finished Assassins Creed. Old game I know, but I only recently got a 360. I really enjoyed the game, one of the most atmospheric I've played in a long time. Plus it's cheap as chips.

I'm looking for a game, I date it back to 1999 or so. It was based on World War II, you were in charge of a unit and you would order soldier to move or take certain actions. The view was like command and conquer or Empire earth, a view from the sky. In the game the units will be affected by behavior, sometimes a soldier would get scare and not take orders and just run or stay in possition not doing a thing. The goal was to eliminate the enemy and the game took your unit personal, once you had a soldier from the unit selected, it would show a face, behaviour or feeling status, weapon, etc.
Anybody would remember it or recommend me something like it?

yeah i liked that one a lot. just save a game before you finish it cause you cant go back and play after you finish. i actually got rid of it because of that. i couldnt figure out how to play again just to mess around without starting all over.

Yeah, I finished it a couple of months ago and found myself just wandering around the same couple of rooms in that office. Then I thought I'd try sitting on the bed thing again. Hey presto, you can choose to go back to any of the towns in the game and find all the flags and stuff. Trouble was I got bored really quick and moved on to Madden 09.

You are right sir and I agree with you,
games is very useful for us because it is useful for sharp our mind and also give relaxation when we are tired and gave cheerfulness when we are sad and also gave knowledge.

Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare probably is the most played game in my household. I love the campaign and online playability! When my inet is messed up I have started playing Tom Clancy's World at War which is pretty good too.
