Well, it's got to have been a year or two since I came on here. Thought I'd check back and see if any of the old crew are still around!!

Hope everyone's been getting in the water plenty - I haven't been in since a very unsuccessful attempt in Biarritz, 2 years ago. But this year is going to be a better year for it I think!!

If there's another Surfing Waves UK get together, I'll try and be in this time.

Life's OK, not fantastic at the moment, but OK.

So you're in Southampton eh? - that's where I went to Uni!! Some great memories (and some not so great about Jesters night club but that's probably not for this forum!!)

Hope things are going well - I'll try and get on here a bit more often now.

Oh yes, Jesters, already been there......loved it To be fair i was HAMMERED and they kept playing Faithless. Made me a very happy bunny.

I joined the forum in the second year of my undergrad so i've been on here for 4 yearsish now

Glad things are OK but sounds like there is room for improvement.....don't wait for the summer meet, head over to Devon with us at some point in the next month or so

I've been dreaming of an Eireish holiday for years now... My branch of the Irwin clan hails from there and there's this weird genetic tug to visit.

Money and shyte get in the way of course.

But I do wonder... Exactly what is the wetsuit requirement on the north coast and how much does it inhibit paddling?

The same as the south-west. 5/4 winter boots gloves... hood optional. down to about 8C at its lowest.

And yes... deffo come on out!

Libs, I'd love to come down now, but I don't think my 3/2 would cut it at the mo!! - that said my friend is trying to get me in the water this month in Bournemouth!!!!!! - He sent me a pic a couple of months ago, never seen B'mouth looking so good. If I can find it I'll upload it here!!

Woohoo - I'm heading to Bournemouth this weekend and taking my gear. Still not sure if I'll make it in, but we'll see.
