hahahahaha it looked like a giant banana. That must of been painful on that one wave in which he fell and rolled across the deck of the board :x . Decent size waves for that huge board too.

I heard that Brazillians, as a nation, have more bottom sex than any other nation.

That seems like the most pointless endeavour I've ever heard of... especially since he already held the record! ... but to each his own, me I call 9' a longboard and don't have any urge to surf anything over 10'...

LOL although KiteSurfer has a point... with a tunnel fin on that board Rico might have a shot at the WCT! :claps:

Did you know that Roy's board is now in Hawaii?

It's been getting some pretty positive feedback. The guy might like a good scrap on the internet, and have some outspoken ideas about design, but a lot of people that ride his board love it, and from what I've seen it's a work of art. I wish I could have got a go on it when it was knocking around in NZ.

Good on him, I for one can't wait to see how it goes in hawaii with some skilled riders on it, and I hope he gets to stick two fingers up at a few people as a result.

Here's a link to the blog http://13footofwood.blogspot.com/ worth a read

That was an interesting link; I missed the reference to Roy in the original video clip in this thread but I guess that's probably his eh? ... the 13' Olo shown on the site looks like it has a place in surfing to me. I can imagine it getting into the right place at the right time and being just the right board. I'll bet Gerry Lopez could soulshred out on it if he felt like it. But the 30 footer... that one seems entirely pointless to me.

WTH!!! You need to be a bit more picky about where you get your education from and the choice of subject matter. Not sure how this relates to the post or am I incredibly dim and missing something (always a possibility).
