i used to drink coffee a lot. there was a little coffee stand right by all my morning classes. then i put two and two together and realised my upset stomach and slight heartburn were due to the coffee in the morning. so i started drinking tea, and it's much better now. bigelow english breakfast is about the only hot tea i can drink. all that herbal xxxxx is gross. sweet tea is my crack. but as coffee brands go, i never found a specific one nor could really tell a difference between any. but from some serious coffee drinkers, go wit ha french press. it apparently opens up a world of flavour and awesome

Yeah mine does frequently as well. However I really like the taste.

I see you've assimilated to southern culture pretty well with the sweet tea :lol:

I'll check out that French Press stuff. I've heard Costa Rican is amazing (and very surfer approved) and my church back home sells this Fair Trade stuff, which is supposed to be good environmentally and good for the farmers.

^ yeah, fair trade/organic is the way to go. costa rica, from what i hear, is awesome. and the sweet tea thing, it's odd. where i grew up, lancaster county, pa, seems to have a strange obsession with sweet tea as well...so it's kind of always been in me

Coffee = problems. (see formula below)
1. To drink Coffee you need Time x Money
Coffee = Time x Money
2. Everyone knows Time = Money, so ..
Coffee = Money x Money = Money^2
3. Money = (root of problems) so ..
If money = root(problems) then Money^2 = problems
4. Coffee = Money^2 so ..
Coffee = problems.

That's the equation for women. :lol:

I drink coffee on the go, and you can get a box of it for like 3 bucks.

I have a jar of instant Nescafe on my desk (for some reason the labels in Spanish), that's as fancy as I get at work.

I was at a meeting this morning at a company who has their own Starbucks in their building!

I loved Folgers while I was out in the US.
At home here in the UK I used to get something called Hot Lava Java, triple caffeine stuff lol, but now I drink the stronger espresso blends from Whittards.

Usually can't stand tea, but I loved the sweet tea from McAllisters!

Yeah, I usually look for what cans of ground coffee are on sale at the grocery store.. chances are high that if you are used to Folgers.. you wont have any issue with taste on the On Sale brands.. :D

I used to get this good hawaiian blend stuff.. (I tried some good coffee when I was in hawaii on vacation so I was hoping to find it here too).

Either way, coffee rocks. I love that stuff.

Kona coffee, I don't usually drink coffee, but when I do, it's Kona or a Kona blend. My favorite is Kona Joe's...but it's a small brand and hard to find...last time I went to Hilo Hattie's near me, they didn't have it, and it's not cheap.
You can find a lot of hawaiian coffee brands online these days, in addition to Kona Joes' there's Maui Coffee Roasters, and Kauai Coffee company both available online.

Peets house blend. Get the beans, grind it, and use a French press to brew. Good stuff!

Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee=the best coffee in the world, imo. Pretty pricey though.

I was in Belize last week and brought some local coffee back with me that's quite good.

For grocery store coffee, I like Community Coffee, the New Orleans blend with chicory. Failing that, Chock Full O' Nuts is always a good cup of coffee, as well.

Bear in mind that I like my coffee like I like my beer (and my women), stout and bitter.
