Anyone else watching online?

Just enjoying the cycling at the moment as our team is kicking ass. Especially good to see as here at work we assisted in their development programme. 8)
Come on!

Lovin it.

Got bored with the swimming, it goes on and on. Did that grey haired 38 year old bloke go for only one 50m freestyle race that he didn't even qualify in? You know the bloke who carried the Brittish flag? Is that what my lottery money goes on? A jolly for him to China just to flap around in a pool for 20 seconds?

:unuts:

I have been appreciating the ladies hockey. (insert smille of dirty old man here)!!

Been watching as much as I can. Definately enjoying watching swimming, though it's being touted as "live finals", it's on a three hour delay, so I check results before watching the race. Watched a bit of a few other sports too.
Too bad no surfing, the closest they get is windsurfing, though it's part of sailing and I don't think they call it windsurfing. Haven't got to see any of that though.

Being in Oz, the olympics are hard to avoid! They've even set up a wide screen TV in the (huge) coffee room at work, which is now full to bursting most of the time

And its live, which is a bit of a novelty for the aussies. 8)

Im still supporting Team GB though!

Been watching it a bit, watching beach volleyball currently. Gonna watch Phelps here in a bit for butterfly, going for the 7th gold. Nuts.....

Anyone keep up with what happened with those "15" year old Chinese gymnastics girls? I heard something of a DQ because of age but that very well could be bitter Americans because we lost to communism

Ok just watched the mens 100m fly. Everyone watch the end of it and tell me what happened?

Pretty much it looks like this dude from Czech I think beat Phelps by a good bit, but they were talking about him not getting all the way there or something?

Also Abdington just got ya'll Brits a gold. And WR

Haven't seen that picture, that's nuts. Pretty cool how they were right next to each other too so we could see it this easily.

The guy filed a protest but it didn't fly.

Phelps actually won, the guy that came in second represents Serbia, I say represents because he was born in my home town and raised in the same county, went to college at Berkeley, and now trains in Florida, so he really is an American, not a Serbian, at least in my book.

the olympic soccer channel on dish network is pissing me off. the announcers just keep talking about argentina and brazil like they are gods balls. any country that shows any skill or ability, they are just shocked at. i guess it's because it's american announcers, but it's really annoying
