Well gues some have. Looks like it's a SOUTH BAY SURF connect and anybody else wanting to meet up and surf. Keep In mind I suck azz and you just might see me attempt to drink my body weight in water(chowder), So if you want great comic relief,look pro next to the likes of me or just don't want to surf alone ither then welcome and post up here and we'll get somthing going. Be warned though you might not even be able to paddle/surf cuz youl be laughin your azz off watchin me flounder about

I just moved from Torrance to San Pedro, but I still work up in El Segundo, so I typically do all my normal activities up in Redondo/Hermosa area and then head down home after the day is done.

There are a couple of us around here. heh. Where abouts do you ride?

Well to say were I ride in truth is realy well no site that would be my home site due to me not knowing anywere or anyone else who surfs ( as in my existing friends). One place I try to go is redondo but try at all times to stay the f out of anybodys way that is better than me which is just about everybody in water but what the hell..... Gotta start somewere right it's just that playin in the whitewash seems allmost non conductive and is %@$#@!! frustrating feels like I need green water to progress and have seemed to have better luck in the green.
That's why I'm tryin to find areas and peeps to hook up with that is not going to wreck all outher dudes on sticks in the line up and in choice would want somebody who's been out there longer than me so as I can learn more than what I allready know and at best they should get to laugh their asses off just watching me eat s#!t and gulp down some chowder. Allso I'm in the understanding that most grom/kook spots suck and which inturn is even harder to find somebody who is a good surfer willing to step down to the beginner level and go to a crappy area let alone deal with a kook in the water ( after all is it not the goal to get better so as one can get away from the rookie spots ?)

Went to San O on Sat and ya that spot is way cool and for sure will be goin there more often twice or more a month so just an invite If anybody wants to go with me even if it's for just the carpool deal and am not bringing the wife kid in tow then got room for 3 + gear and sticks wife and kid go room for one + gear and boards so anywho that is down for it let me know and I'll save the way you want me to contact you and give you the heads up and choice to go (yea/nay) working down the list till all spots open are filled with (no strings or obligations to teach me anything just offering a ride, going there anyways)(don't care about smoke or ??? don't hold nothing on anybody I helped make it a free country) cold suds are for after the rides at least for me. Allso was told by some peeps there that I should allso try little malibu about the same distance???? Any info on this spot? was it true? I was told a long time ago that one should stay clear of malibu if your new so whats the real deal????

geez thats a long paragraph but its great so surf in hermosa beach.. but you gotta go at the morning and no one will be there.. i usually go there around 6 ish... and the waves are nice sometimes.. and its almost never crowded I dont think i can help you seeing that im not that good either but i just learnt on green waves.. if you keep trying then you get it

haha ill be another one thats eating shiz consistently take a look at the photos of hermosa at 6 in the morning.. its in the surf chat category... i think its titled something like... "no vid.. but pictures" anyways.. that was today so just see if you like it

haha... uhh i learned on that same board.. its a 6'7'' i think i started november going once a week.. sometimes more sometimes less.. a little bit more now.. about 2 times a week since my break started.. it's the timing of the pictures.. hahaha

wadda you guys think?? got used bullet proof 8-6 surftech soft top semi squash new 8-6 z epoxy rounded tail, 4 no dings/dents sticks in the 6-4 to 6-6 squash/ semi squash, 2 used/repaired 6-4 all are thrusters (future or fcs) and 2 new podunk quad rippers. Having toughest time on the epoxy 8-6 and of course surftech is mellow but still hard for me. Originally learned on a 6-8 twin lightning bolt manny moons ago but even so havin trouble on both mini longs should I say F#@! it and try to take out one of the short boards or just keep drowning on a mini mal till I get It??????

Ooh, Idk man. Hard decision for me.. as I ONLY have access to a short board. So my decision has always been made up for me; continue to battle with learning on the squirrely stick.

If you have the resources.. I would say go with the bigger one to get your balance and your wave-legs back. Then once you are feeling okay, try out the others.

That's just my thoughts though..

Hell ya I put a book in here about bla bla bla and a san onefre trip been there verry nice but think ya got to go to outher spot at san o than the day use spot for the short rippers and I'm not sure where it is But I'm down for a trip back.... Anyyouz wanna go I'm driving.

If not I'm still cool with a redondo spalsh... juz keep in mind you all might not even be able to paddle let allone surf from lughing your azzez off after ya see my floudering and eatin shiz ....ROFL
