Surfing Waves

Sydney's north shore suburbs received a light cover of snow (according to the authorities it was actually very very fine hail).

I knew I should have hit the beach this afternoon! It would have been warmer in the water than out!

Thunder and lightning in this bit of Sydney!

I'd actually just finished painting the deck of a boat, minutes before the rain hit... and it totally ruined the paintjob... Hours of work totally destroyed! And the worst part was, it looked really really good...

If only I'd started 30min later, I would've seen the clouds forming and waited for a better day to paint.. but as it was, there was no sign of rain when I started painting.
