well first two hours in a car isnt that bad (i travel three every surf trip.... although i dont go alll that often)

but if you want to practice with out the sea, try an indo board. it will help keep your balance. practice getting up on your board. umm otherwise just work out a bit for when you do go surfing, theres no really way to represent to ocean in your house. sry.,

You could try street longboarding aswell
Turning on one of those babies is exactly the same as carving a surfboard

Keep your fitness up with practice pop-ups and of course swimming.

of course balance wise all the above suggestions are great.. also Indo boards authough I'm abit dubous about how this relates balance wise to stand-up

one thing u definatly should do is breath hold techniques.DAN is saying 60 seconds max under water or you risk blacking out from hypoxia and there are other schools of thought on training breath holding.try exerting yourself by running or swimming then expell all your air and go under hold for as long as you can stand come up take a breath and go down again.of course this can be risky also so try training with a friend.

first, learn to spell... second, 2 hours isn't that bad of a drive, if you actually want to practice surfing, the only real way to get better is to be in the water, so suck it up and make the drive.

It takes me only half an hour to get to the sea

btw street longboard does really work and just for the fun u can skate with it on the streets

i dont have a longboard but ive tried it many times, i got a normal skate though

if ure planning to buy a skate tell me, i know a bit on decks and wheels

wat to do, wat to do???

uh obviously u could go to the ocean. thats the best thing to do. who cares if theres no surf, theres so many other things to do there. u can fish, swim, or get some excersice and paddle ur board.
