ok so we had to break into his room a little bit to do it but thats what you get for going home!!!

and were now using his bed as a sofa in the kitchen.

and everything left in his room is upside down

Wrap everything in cling film

This takes a bit of work, but build a mock up cupboard interior from hinged bits of fibre board and fit it inside his room. When he get's back, it'll look like his door opens into a broom cupboard.
