so can anyone tell me when you do a bert slide dose your bum end up on the ground during the slide

Can if you want, I usually keep mine up because your pockets will get holes worn in them then your wallet will fall out. Also you can do a frontside bert. Frontside as in on your toe side, not as in if you are riding a bank front side.

Dude get some work gloves and a old plastic cutting board, cut some palm size pucks out and then get a blow torch, melt one size, and then you can wear the gloves and slide on the asphalt.

Or , just use knee sliders, like the ones i wear on the bike !!!

I used to use empty gatorade bottles.

Also stylish as you are carving along drinking your gatorade, finish it, screw on the top, and lay down a nice coleman.

i know that for a bert i mean for just a power slide

well there are hands down power slides and handless power slides.

hands up its best just to let off the downward pressure while turning hard.
