Thankfully finished filming the new Batman film?! gonna be so good in that. will be his trade mark roe now for sure.

I just heard too. I've been a fan of his ever since I saw him in The Patriot... and Brokeback mountain is one of the best films ever made i.m.o. He was a brilliant actor. Like PapaW says, I think everyone was expecting great things from him. :cry:

i really hope the OD was an accident.. cause that was depressing to hear about... such an amazing actor.. we need more actors from the OZ these americans drive me nuts.

a HEM! Heath Ledger IS an Australian actor. From Perth, where the waves suck compared to the rest of the country except from Bayside which doesnt get any swell because it's blocked off. so how did he die?

Someone texted me last night "Health Ledger is dead! I can't believe it, what a shame etc".

I just assumed he was some crappy folk artist......no wait he made crappy films like Knights Tale and that one where he got paid to date that chick!

Sorry, didn't know him personally and he made no lasting impression on my life.

I loved "A knight's tale"

One of the funniest films I ever saw!

I was watching A Knights Tale a few days ago, one of my favourites.

It is a shame, didn't really strike me as the type to go that way
