Pub Quiz

Postby Real Pol » Thu Jan 10, 2008 11:26 pm

So I was at a pub quiz tonight and something that stumps my friends and I most isn't really difficult questions like

"What currency was introduced in 1999?"
We put "magic beans", but I don't think that was right.

No, what we get stuck at is what name to give our team.

So I was wondering what pub team names you people from ALL over the world use/have used/would like to use etc.

This is for a social experiment I'm carrying out for....an..erm......school project and I'm not going to steal the best names next week or anything.........okay.....good.

hehe good answer but I think it was the euro.

I always end up with 'norfolk in hope' or 'norfolk in chance'. Imagintion range of a teaspoon

Would you be from Norfolk then?

Thats the type of canny reasoning I used tonight and why we came 15th out of 20!
(a result we were all quite pleased about)

"This Week's Losers" was always a favourite. If nothing else, it confused things at the end of the quiz.

Haha, me and MrsDBBB went to a pub quiz where the losers also got a chance at the envelope, so we quickly worked out that the best way to win was to lose. An hour later we were £60 up
