advice/ ideas/ suggestions wanted

I was going to write the subject as "epipen advice wanted" but I figured that actually people with no knowledge may still be able to help...
To cut a long story short, last year I experienced my first anaphylactic shock. It was caused by some tablets I was given. I was ok afterwards and thought it was just a one off thing. Then, over the last two months I've gone into anaphylactic shock about 4 ot 5 times. The last time was even more scary as the first adrenaline shot I got in hospital didn't work like it usually does and I had to have another one.
So, I was told to make sure I always carry an epipen around with me but here's my problem - I've broken it already
See - in the large carboard case it's too big to fit in my normal handbag unless I take it out and just keep in it's thin plastic tube
I left it in the bottom of my larger handbag, but with the weight of everything on top of it (or maybe I stood on it by accident???) , the plastic broke and I had to get a new one.
This is what it looks like without the carboard box it comes in.
I've had a look on the net to see if anyone makes a sturdy (but small) case specifically for it and I can't find one - only giant plastic boxes to keep it at home (not much use if you have any allergic reaction while you're out!)
So, (finally!) my question is - can anyone think of any specific hard but light case I could get for it, or know anyone who has the same problem and owns what i'm looking for?
I just thought I'd ask
My doctor told me to "be more careful" with it
I guess now I know how delicate it is, I will be, but I'm still on the look out for a case to protect it.
Any ideas welcome!
Thanks!
