Good morning,

Can someone help me please. I am not a surfer and i want to buy a book for a very good friend of mine for Xmas.
I dont want to just buy any ould book.

Could you tell me the name of any books or surfing autobiographies that might be the best to buy?

I would really appreciate your feedback.

Tks,

Crkaeds

p.s. i forgot to mention that he actually wind surfs if that makes any difference

My sister bought me one last year called 'A history of surf culture' by Drew Kampion and Bruce Brown.

It's an interesting look at how surfing has developed, and is full of photos.

Eddie Would Go

Best biography I have ever read. Really amazing story of a great waterman, Eddie Aikau.

Perfect Day...Best of Surfer magazine is quite good. Some of the best articles from past Surfer mags.
Teahupoo by Tim McKenna is mega...great photography, good writing too.

Eddie Would Go is definitely for anyone that likes the water, not just surfers.
