Surfing Waves

Personally I would like to say a big thankyou to Surf Patrol for setting up this excellent forum.

There is lots of advice, help, and everyone is really friendly, and I think that Surf Patrol has put a lot of his own time and effort into the project. He also is very willing as leolivi said in a different post to spend time monitoring the forum, changing bits, and giving helpful advice!!!

So thankyou surf patrol

yup i'll second that!!! i don't know how to do funky, cool things with my text though *cries*. n/m. but yes, Surf Patrol is indeed a great help, i take my imaginary hat off to him :) respect!!!

Thanks, it's nice to know that it is appreciated. It is not a totally selfless act - it is in my interest to make the forum as good as possible and to get as many people to come and visit. It is good to see that the work has not been wasted - we've already got a little community going and more people are coming all the time. The goal is to make this forum the first place a surfer will come to get some answers to their surfing questions (you've got to aim high!).

Just checked, ive been on here for almost 5 years !

And even I'm back! 26 now... but still surfing when I can! Last trip was September to Hossegor in the appartment "Les Grandes Vagues"... door entrance by the nightclub. Anyone know it? Spent almost as much time in the water as in there...

Good thanks Surf Patrol - significantly more grown up than last time I was on here... working and living in London, and surfing wherever and whenever I can. Even made it over to San Diego for a few sessions this year...

On a different note, site seems to be going very well. Love the new layout on the main page... and 11,466 users? Nice darts!

Anything significant I've missed?

Same old same old. Things are ticking over, heading towards the 10 year mark.

I humbly take it upon myself to thank Surf Patrol on behalf of both myself and all other guests and members of this forum – cheers dude, I'm sure we all appreciate this forum.
