I got a friend who's basicly spoiled, she has rich parents that are divorced, so they like compete to get her the best stuff. I don't remember what it was, but she has a nice camera that I took a bunch of pictures with until she wouldn't let me use it anymore, I'm trying to get her to come surf with me so she can use one my boards (she doesen't have one) and I can use her camera.

she also has a killer video camera, housing, and really nice editing setup.

Well now i dont think i'm going to get that autofocus above, id rather have a manual focus and then not have to drop a extra thousand bucks just for a auto. so now, i want this lens...http://www.expresscameras.com/prodetail ... 23&start=1

Not that I know a huge amount about it - but we are looking at camera's for my wife and the Nikon D70 is pretty heavy compared to the Canon EOS350D - the Canon has a better range of functions too!
