The original offer of having a hoodie made/printed was purely down to jo being led into doing so from requests from some of us that were going to this years meet!. The hoodies were never printed to be a 'commerce product' or for general purchase, this only happened because jo agreed to try and get a larger run of the hoodies made so that anyone could get their hands on one. In essence the hoodies were being printed as a favour that we all wanted (those that originally asked for them) and jo offered her time and efforts to do this 'favour'.
On the issue of bad communications and refunds ... yes i agree that if she was doing this as a financial gain through a business idea then yes .. bad communications and a lack of speed in arranging any refund is a poor show on jo's part .. but still .. please remember .. the original intent was to offer something that 'we' wanted and were happy to buy from someone who is for all intent and purposes ..'annonymous on a global forum' and therefore the risk of any undoing in any such arrangement is as much down to the person wishing to purchase any item from ' an annonymous person on a global website' .
In short ..if i wasnt prepared to lose my £25.00 (in a worst case scenario) i would not have made the order to an 'annonymous person on a global website' which we all know is at best a risky financial situation in the first place !!
There is no guarantee in life people ..unless you find one or are offered one. None was offered by Jo, other than a personal promise that she would do her best to get the hoodies printed for us and at cost .. AS A FAVOUR to her forum buddies.
Im sure jo will arrange all refunds asap .. but her 'personal asap' may have a different timescale to my 'business asap'
