Surf Patrol....i have had bash at what you said and still no luck. I even unistalled Limewire in the hope it would delete the files but it didnt get rid of them or made a difference when i tried to delete them. Grrr has anyone got any other suggestions?? If all else fails i think im going to have to face the humiliation of taking it to the computer place and trying to explain the situation :? as if they are going to believe me!

you may want to give what the others said about deleting files, except start up in safe mode, sometimes that is the only way to get rid of the evil buggers.

i use limewire and i dont have that problem. never ever ever never ever. limewire does suck though, but if your computer is old like mine then.. bleh. well also i have a mac which are safer because less dodgy russian porn guys, and less perople in general, use them. so no mislabeled files

Just thought I would keep you guys up to date on the russian porn situation...
I took my lap top to a friend who is a whiz with computers and after a couple of hours and many jokes still no luck with getting rid of it.

So I have no choice but to take it to the local IT centre and get them to fix it...sigh...its going to be a long embarrassing day tomorrow, oh the shame!

Wheeeey! Computer is russian porn free! :D

I took it into those computer whiz kids down the road and after an uncomfortable explanation of the problem with me sheepishly looking at the floor...those boys took care of the whole thing!

Apparently they see it all the time! For anyone who is interested in what was wrong with the files, im sorry i wouldnt be able to tell you....i understood NOTHING of what they said to me.
Nice as the guys were they didnt half rub it in that i didnt know the first thing about my computer....made me right stupid!

Anyways problem is sorted, thanks for your help guys!

haha Dec: im glad i had that note to self otherwise it could have got messy!
