... basically their a personal webpage which introduces yourself to the world ! .. good for making random friends or creating a link to yourself globally which can be usefull if your trying to get your music or art noticed etc but generally they are just an online meet and greet page which is filled with your personal details , likes & disslikes and such ..all good fun if thats your thing !! but has the obvious downsides of

a) you dont know who the hell is taking that info' in and doing what with it !

b) you might not like some of the attention you get from wandering droolers looking for someone to latch onto !

All good if your a cyber stalker .. i think the set-up of myspaces is about to change as kids have gotten themselves into trouble and worse from using their myspace to meet people

As i say i can see the point of them and i can see the whole global friend thing being cool but its not for me

some guy got muged at gun point by 2 14 year old girls on there a few weeks back in the US, i signed up for a week to keep in touch with a few friends that i dont speak to offten and got flooded by weirdos and people trying to get me to sign up to there porn sites i took it down

great if your a band though trying to get your name out there
