Just a random question I guess,
Would you rather your girlfriend came out with you surfing everyday and was obbsessive about it as you are, or would you rather have surfing as an 'escape' for time for just you and your pals out there?

I'm not sure whati would prefer.

Yeah, climbing is awesome, its a really good workout and its fun.
I've climbed quite a few places in texas, but we also built a really nice wall at our old house. It was like 40 feet tall and 2 faces were just straight up, but the other 2 had some oververt.

that wall sounds pretty good, wish i had that in the back yard!!! :( There's a great wall in sunderland, bout 30min away but no decent ones in newcastle unfortunately so don't do it as often as i'd like.

As for your question namino. I quite like the idea of having surf as an escape from everything to be honest, whether it be a boyfriend, work, mates, or just life in general. It's about the only time i can truly just chill and think of nothin else. Don't think I'd want my boyfriend to be out with me all the time, would do my head in.

I really enjoy surfing with my girlfriend. It took a long time to find a mate that surfs, doesn't smoke and doesn't bitch. Of course it's only been four months we will see how things pan out in the future.

lol CheeZee...

Thats the piece of xxxxx involved in living an hour and a half from any beach and only being 14 years old.

But, there are plenty of chicks out there that arent bithces who drink xxxxx underage...

Also a bad thing about going to an all boys skool.. but theres a good thing...

if you were at a mixed guy/chick (co-ed) school, if u went out with someone really popular.. then u broke up with em.. u could lose heapz of ur friends..

Well, theres school relationships 101 for you right there.

ps: wtf is '101'??

WTF MAte?

i think some of you guys have missed the point ... my understanding of this thread was for people to talk about relationships, not "getting her pissed and nailing her." boys will be boys i suppose, but it does make me a tad uneasy when you talk about girls that way.

oh well i guess ill get a whole lot of posts in retalliation now ...

I'm afraid in the real world, that's what guys are like. Guess it's fair enough if they're talking to their buddies etc cos that's just how it is. It is different on a forum where anyone can read it as opposed to a private conversation in person but you've just got to ignore it if you don't like it, there's a lot of posts you have to do that to I'm afraid. Boys will always be boys, some of them eventually grow up but some never do and some too late. You still gotto love 'em for it though... :P

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh school, I remember school!

ps: wtf is '101'??

To answer your question Globe, the expression, 101 is like a foundation course in something. I think it's like Year 1, class number 01.

My wife is great - she would love to surf, but doesn't like water that much, so she takes photos for a couple of hours before I get to knackered, then goes off and comes back with a cup of tea and a pasty for when I get out.

Spot on!!

Nothing like holding a hot cup of tea in numb fingers!!

Would you rather your girlfriend came out with you surfing everyday and was obbsessive about it as you are, or would you rather have surfing as an 'escape' for time for just you and your pals out there?

I have to say that even when I paddle out with my mates, I don't see that much of them - just catch up with them after a few waves. I would love it if my wife would come out there too, but now she has to stay on the beach with our little girl (until she's big enough to get out there too!!)
