I'll get drown for this.

I have an undergrad minor in musicology and music history.

I can tell you what I don't like:

The "New Age" crap.

Rap, any rap.

Hip Hop.

Folksie . . .

Punk.

Any of the radical feminist liberation crapola.

You want what I like?

Bach, any of them.

Pink Floydd

AC/DC

Mozart for the most part -- (little rhyme there)

Gershwin.

ZZ Top.

Dire Straits.

Led Zepplin

Stones -- THE Stones.

Beatles

Billy Holliday

Ertha Kitt

Jazz for the most part, especially swing.

Eastern music, Thai, Tibet, India . . . etc.

Mediaeval, Gregorian chants.

J. P. Souza

Rogers & Hammerstein

Blues -- Delta, to Chicago.

More, but I gotta go catch a wave.

Yeah, no Shinola here . . . There's a local radio station -- non-commercial, "public radio" and they toss off a lot of the radical political crap.

They have on Sat. night some jerk into punk who screams obscenities.

Also some clown on Friday who does "Caribbean." "Caribbean" to him means reggae. No calypso, no rumba, no samba, no blues. No momba, no steel drum, no guitar, no drums. Jeez, I have a nephew who plays piano on Caribbean cruise ships. He's been all over the Caribbean.

In the Caribbean they play lots of music besides reggae. Reggea sucks, except for maybe Bob Marley -- if you listen to his lyrics.

But Wednesday night they get these harping radical lesbian feminists running the show. "Music by women for women." What a heap of xxxxx!

I actually get along with lesbians, rather well as a matter of fact. But I don't think sexual orientation should be a political issue. It should be about how you feel sexually, not how you stand politically.

That make sense???
