yeah i can ship it too the us but it will cost u a bit more i will have too look in too it

I'm gonna put a paypal request into that address for the £24.38 i sent her and see if that gets her attention. If everyone does it she should cotton on.

Yes, she took your money. She finally gave mine back once I started putting all my options together like contacting my local internet fraud center and filing a complaint with Paypal and also contacted the management of this forum for some help since she was simultaneously selling her surfboard and answering queries regularly for that to get more money but ignoring my emails to get a refund. Suddenly she got my emails and deposited the money with a thousand apologies which after having seen you all struggling to get your money from her this long rings rather hollow. Shameful. If I were you, I'd start putting the squeeze on her from every direction. I don't care what the cause of her actions, she has acted dishonorably and isn't making an effort to correct her mistakes. It did put a bitter taste in my mouth about this forum which is rather like throwing the baby out with the bath water I know. The CA/SD fires reminded me I feel a connection here too and I came back. Jo isn't a fraud, she's started a new job and moved into a new flat with no internet access, OK I agree she should have been a little more careful with other peoples money but i genuinely dont think she's trying to rip anyone off, she's just working crazy hours and no longer at uni with no internet access, i'll send her a text later to remind her about it and let you know what she sais.....

The only reason i brought it up was cause i wondered if other people had been having the same problem. I'd like my money back for sure but i'm not gonna start mud slinging and falling out with people over 25 quid!

It isn't mudslinging to relay to you exactly what happened to me and how I got my money back. The fact that others began asking for their money back at the same time and haven't gotten their money says everything I need to know about the situation. I won't defend anyone who takes people's money and then ignores their emails until they start to look at their other alternatives to recovering their money. Who's the victim, her? No, it is all the people who placed more than their money in her hands and got squat for it. They gave her their trust and she won't even answer their emails. It's all factual and I stick by everything I wrote. Prove it otherwise and I'll play along with the fantasy that she's just a poor gal just trying to get by in her busy life for seven months and hasn't even had the time to email anyone or any access to the internet. See that would have flown with me too except I offered her the opportunity, publicly on the thread I might add, to go to an internet cafe at my expense up to $10 and deduct that from my refund if she needed to and even that illicited nothing but she somehow kept managing to actively try to sell her board. Believe me when I say that once I got serious so did she. Should you have to bang someone over the head to get them to act honorably. Heck no. Stick up for the people getting screwed over and rethink who you can really trust.

I agree Jo could have handled the situation better, but there is a difference between someone who actively goes out to rip people off and someone who fleshin' up a little bit but does the right thing in the end. I've met Jo on a number of occasions, i've even stayed with her for 2 days, and i reckon she'll do the right thing as soon as she can.

You got your money back, and i'm sure the others will too.

If months of ignoring emails goes down in your book as good character, then that's your right completely and I shant disagree with your personal standard. I only judge people by what they do to me, not by who they tell me they are, who others tell me they are, or what they tell me they will do. You are what you do. I hope the others do get their money back as they should.

for the record, I never had any threats of court action from ginat. I have refunded papaw and soops just now. I am not on my own pc at the moment so do not have the list of those who have paid.

for all the people who sent me cheques, they were never paid in so i have not "ripped them off for squat" and for those who have paid with paypal, I will sort it this week.

and Ginat, I would prefer it if you witheld your grossly misguided statements, or at the very least consider other peoples situations before you start shooting your mouth off.
