the break where Bethany lost her arm. My friends who surfed there a lot called it "dump trucks" because it would dump you on the reef. Some of them claimed that all the regular surfers there had huge scars on their backs due to being dumped on the reef. I surfed there once on a small day. But went scuba and skin diving there a lot. Interesting place and probably not too safe for skin diving or scuba diving if there are any waves. The waves will push water over the shallow reef and it runs back out in a strong current. If you want to make it to the inside of the reef you have to start 25 to 100 yards up current from where you want to go or you will end up in the current going out to sea.

This break is a beginners break when it's not breaking good. When it's good you may get run over for dropping in on the better surfers
