I used to own a bug and after avoiding RTTS for years, a mate convinced me to give it a shot. Apart from the wasted DNA that populated the place, my most vivid memory was a guy in a full wettie walking along the High Street. :yearght:

Never, ever, ever going back to Newquay.

Newquay is a TOP place :D !
I love going to Newquay. In fact I'm going again in late August for a week in Goofy's surf lodge just next to Fistral.
I love all the over the top sh1t that goes on there.
I only visit 1-2/year but its so different to anywhere else, and so much 'surf culture' going on - like the uk version of California.
Ok doubt I could live there but love visiting.
I do like getting stuck into the clubbing thing too sometimes, gotta be done! Again moderation is probs the key here - and by that I mean don't hit it every night, but when you go out, make the most of it and get hammered with the chavs and have a laugh.
I have a few mates who live there, and there is more to the place than Sailors and Springbok if you take the time to check it out properly.
Oh yeh, and its ok to be a real surfer and yet still go clubbing and stuff! Just make sure the tide is right for a late surf the following day rather than a dawney (or better still wait til its flat). :D
Surely variety is the spice of life, stop being so sensible and lighten up you lot!

'tis actually my moto. I grew up on a chav estate, I live on a chav estate, found out yesterday that the English part of my family were from Hull, I worked with chavs. So, in order to fulfil the 'variety is the spice of life' moto I forbid myself to holiday with chavs.

Must keep away from them at all costs!! Would much rather spend a soulfull/surfing meet discussing which cartoon females are the hottest!
